It's a great effort in getting together this new look for the homepage, and it is good.
I would like to suggest the following
1. a background colour to the page. When i first looked at it, i felt that my page did not load well enough. Then i realised that the background is white.
2. The buttons on the top be in an attractive / larger font with a button like look.
3. The Banner area (to the right of the Jeepthrills logo have some scroll pictures of the latest OTR activities, workshop held etc.
4. Add the day of the week along with date. And maybe IST ?
5. A birthday reminder shows somewhere on the site... More Wishes we give out and receive, the closer we all will get.
6. The 'Website Hits' tickler figures prominently in view - will show how popular the site is
7. List a scroll of new members intro, short comments or alerts to all in the group.
8. The page is too long (scrolling-wise). I wonder if it can be shortened with prompts that can take to the preferred areas / subjects. I feel that an efficient hope page view is one without a scroll bar, giving just an over view.
I hope my views helps while you collate feedack and review based on popularity or relevance.

(User Info | Send a Message) http://www.indianwildlifeblog.com | | I just joined the site and I find the ordering of the forums to be confusing. When I see the block, I clicked on the forum.
But the page did not change. I clicked several times before I realised that the remained where they were, under them there were and only after that did the forum appear.
IMHO this should be reordered.
